Loved the video, although I’m not sure female cab drivers exist in India.

@Wendy, They don’t. I asked Adrianna Tan, aka popagandhi.com, she said neither Mumbai nor any other city in India have any female cab drivers.
@helen, Completely agree. I first found the video on http://themasterplan.in/
Riding in a Mumbai cab is never that blissful( have spent my entire life in Mumbai so I know) ,most cabs are rickety and rattle and shake but brilliant video..
@anjeeta, I’ve never done it so far, but I can imagine
By the way, the word ‘blissful’ in the title not only refers to blissful modes of transportation, but also *being* blissful when traveling despite outer circumstances such as rickety cabs, delayed flights, fellow passengers who won’t stop talking too loud on their cell phones, too hot or too cold weather etc. To accept things for what they are. If possible make something about them, otherwise just make the best of it rather than complaining. But sometimes that can be easier said than done
That was a really interesting video that you shared.
And well there are Women cab drivers in India, not just cab but also tuk-tuk and even train pilot too.
Quick update: read about Priyadarshini Taxi Service in the online newsletter of journeywoman.com. Their pink colored taxis, available 24 hours a day, are driven by women trained for self defense. Their slogan is ‘Of women, for women, by women.’
