Australian Driving Routes

Yesterday I found a page on Australian Geographic where you can download 14 crackerjack driving routes for free. The drives take between 4-14 days.

I want to see western Australia, so I would probably choose South-West, Beaches and Goldfields starting in Perth.

Very cool. I’ve driven through a few of the areas listed, but most will be added to my “next time” list.

The Katherine to Broome route is one of the trips I’ve made a couple of times, and I highly recommend a trip through this region. Really wild and untouched. But anyplace in Australia is interesting.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will have that in mind when I travel to Australia.
