4 Must Sees in London
Moving beyond the main tourist attractions is a must for many travelers, but when coming to a new city I sometimes prefer to visit the most popular sights at once.
For first time visitors to London I recommend:
To admire the building or enjoy a classical concert.
For good photo opportunities, come early morning before the crowds arrive.
I visited twice – at night and in the afternoon. I enjoyed the cathedral much more in the darkness when no people were around. Nothing wrong with the guided day tours, but do consider a visit at a quiet time to see St Paul’s Cathedral in a different light.
I first visited Royal Academy of Arts in mid September to see Impressionists by the Sea, an exhibition that explores the development of the trendy beach scene from the early 1960′s to the early 1870′s through work by Monet, Manet and Eugéne Boudin. The exhibitions change a few times a year. Currently, they show work from the well-known German artist Georg Baselitz.

My favorites – Tate Modern, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, National Portrait Gallery
My faves are London Gherkin, Covent Gardens, Granary Wharf, London Bridge.
