Can you eat anything better than newly picked strawberries in the summer? I doubt it. In Sweden, strawberry picking is very popular during the summer. The best ones are usally eaten in June or July. Even if you live in a city it’s often not far to the countryside and big strawberry beds where you can pick your own strawberries. We picked a few liters (pictured below) a couple of days ago. They were just enough ripe and deliciously sweet.
Don’t forget to pick some strawberries if you ever visit Sweden in the summer, or at least buy a liter or two in the supermarket.
