Fresh Strawberries

Newly picked and fresh strawberries. Can you eat anything better in the summer? I doubt it. In Sweden, it’s very popular with strawberry picking during the summer and the best ones are usally eaten in June or beginning of July. Even if you live in a city it’s often not far to the countryside and big strawberry beds where you can pick your own strawberries. We picked a few liters a couple of days ago – the ones on the photo below – and they were just enough ripe and really sweet. Don’t forget to pick some strawberries if you ever visit Sweden between June and July or at least buy some fresh Swedish strawberries in the supermarket.
