Fresh Strawberries

Can you eat anything better than newly picked strawberries in the summer? I doubt it. Throughout the summer, Swedes in all ages eat loads of these delicious, sweet berries. The best ones are usally eaten in June or July. Even if you live in a city it’s often not far to the countryside and big strawberry beds where you can pick your own strawberries. We picked a few liters (pictured below) a couple of days ago.

If you ever visit Sweden during the summer, do pick some strawberries or buy a liter or two in the supermarket.
