Agra is one of the most prominent tourist destinations of Uttar pradesh and also affectionately called as the Land of palaces. The fantastic Agra also houses a lot of intricate and beautiful architecture that make your visit informative and interesting. The heritage of the Mughal dynasty and their fascinating tombs, forts and mausoleums can be easily observed in and around the city of Agra. There are also other monuments and places that are famous for their beauty and significance in Agra. Agra is blessed with one of the seven wonders of the world known as Taj Mahal, which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in India. No visit to Agra would be complete without making a visit to the famous Agra fort, the red sandstone fort was reformed into a palace and extensively repaired with marble and pietra dura inlay. Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb is where the mausoleum took its name from. There are also some of the other places in Agra such as Jama Masjid, Sikandra Fort, Bageshwarnath Temple, Jodha Bai ka Rauza and other places.
