    I love basically all songs by Bob Marley, but this one and Could You Be Loved are my two favorites. They never fail to make me smile

  From a C90 cassette of Legend in my back pocket in the days of tape walkmans all the way through to my current MP3 player, I have carried this song with me as a form of first aid wherever I went. No matter what life throws at you, no matter how depressed, angry, furious, fearful or anxious you might get, I guarantee this song will calm you down. Doctors should prescribe it.

  Of course you don’t need to be feeling bad, just throw it on first thing in the morning, set it as your wake-up alarm, or throw it on in the car when you go to work, even for a morning grouch like me it never fails to make me start the day on a positive note.

  Of course the great thing about Bob is that he has a song for everything; unrequited love, love, war, poverty, feeling overworked, feeling relaxed…

  My personal fav is the old rough studio cut of Sun is Shining where Pete Tosh plays the melodica.

    You’re spot on! That’s exactly how I feel too. Whenever I face a challenging situation I listen to this song and everything instantly feels easier.

    Seems like we have a similar taste. I love that version of Sun is Shining. As for other songs with Pete Tosh, I must say that Downpressor Man is a clear favorite.
