Given that the game of golf was invented in Scotland in the 14th century, it seems only right that golf in Scotland benefits from having some of the world’s finest golf courses.

The area of Scotland with the highest concentration of golf courses of exceptional quality is Fife and Lothian. Whether you choose to stay in Edinburgh, Dundee, Kirkcaldy or one of the quaint Scottish villages round and about, you will not be far from some beautiful fairways and lovingly nurtured greens. The majority of large and well known golf courses have golf gift vouchers to offer – so it might be worth a look before you go.

A Day in Dubai

Dubai A Day in Dubai

Glitzy, glamorous, over-the-top and a little overexposed, Dubai certainly thrives on attention. On the surface it’s materialistic beyond anyone’s wildest imagination. By treating almost every visitor like VIPs, visitors respond by spending like VIPs. We’re talking about a city, which has redefined glamour; a city, which has continued to push the boundaries of innovation and a city, which surely must be considered one of the true diamonds of the Middle East.

Its myriad shopping malls, flamboyant hotels, enviable golf courses and divine beaches make Dubai one of the planet’s premier tourist destinations. Piquing curiosity is what has made Dubai famous. It’s a well oiled PR machine (how often do you hear that Saudi Arabia, Iran or Jordon are just next door?) Its leader, Sheikh Mohammed, is a man who simply cannot say ‘no’, and has willingly poured enormous amounts of money into zany developments, which have slowly turned an old fishing village into the Dubai of today — an attractive, accessible metropolis.

With the travel season on us and many Americans having to watch every penny they spend, it might seem like a bad time to splurge on a trip to Las Vegas, especially with the siren’s call of slot machines and other gambling games. Trips in the US, specifically Las Vegas, can really be more affordable — especially for those that love and enjoy to play live games rather than staying at home and playing online at sites like partybingo.com

Fly Smart

You can find package travel deals to Las Vegas at incredibly low prices at sites such as Priceline, Travelocity, and Expedia. Since hotels and casinos in Vegas typically make their profits from gambling, they’re willing to offer very low room rates, which can mean some great deals on package trips from travel sites. You’ll typically get the best price if you book more than 30 days in advance and make your reservation on a Tuesday or Wednesday, as flights tend to be cheaper when booked on those days.
