This week’s photo captures a normal day in Santa Marta, Colombia.

Amazing photo. I would love to see South America.
Hi Steve,
I really recommend you to check out Mats’ site for more amazing shots http://www.einarsen.no/foto/
They have some amazing beaches in Colombia especially in Parque Tyrona, however one thing that really gets me is why they have to paint all the beautiful Palm trees White at the bottom! It makes them look so tacky! I asked numerous people and got numerous answers from “So people/cars can see them and don’t run into them.” To “It’s to protect them from the bugs that eat them.” Anyone Know the real reason?
