This week’s photo was taken an early morning at the Ari atoll in the Maldives.
I chose this image because I recently had a dream about standing on a white sand beach somewhere, surrounded by palm trees and clear blue water as far as I could see. I felt the warm sand beneath my feet, the sunshine on my face, and a complete peacefulness. Behind me, a few women and a couple relaxed in beach chairs while gazing up at the sun. A young man came out from the simple bar to the left, told me about their different excursions to nearby islands. I smiled at him. “Thank you, but I rather just stay here.” Then I turned towards the ocean again.

I like to think I was in the Maldives, or Bora Bora.
Beautiful beach, I feel like lying down in the shade !
