Mmmmm!!! Delicious looking! Vanilla sauce is not a big thing in Asia, so I only got to know it when living in Sweden. And it’s all over apple pies, apple crumble, fruit pies etc. Fantastic thing to have over desserts! Fantastic photos that make you drool!

True, vanilla sauce is very popular here in Sweden. Especially on apple pies! And the one with real vanilla (where you can see the black vanilla seeds), as opposed to those with vanilla extract, tastes way better.

Yes, gratins of various kinds are great during the cold winter months. As are soups.
