Otherwise no complaints, it’s a more cost effective option if you’re a family. Great to find such a nice post about Lisbon and Portugal. Lisbon has always been seen as an underrated destination, and it’s with great pleasure that I see that image slowly fading away.

You can travel to all over the place by car. If anyone travels to Portugal, do not limit yourself to Algarve. Go and visit the portuguese south-west coast - we call it the Alentejo's seaboard. Ironically, foreigners know it better than us. The extreme north is also a must see. And yes, wine is good and seafood is very good around here. Personally, I don't like it, but it so happens that we're the second biggest fish eaters in the entire world (or so I heard).
