Search and Compare Multiple Travel Sites on HotelCalculator
A couple of days ago I came across the hotel comparision search engine HotelCalculator.com.

Michal Wlodarski, CEO of HotelCalculator, let me in on some key features of the site:
HotelCalculator.com is a metasearch engine for hotels. We crawl more than 20 hotel booking sites in order to provide our users with a possibility to find the best deal. We offer our engine in several languages and cover all global destinations.
Instead of writing how cool metasearch is in general I will try to point out some characteristics HotelCalculator.com is equipped with to ensure easier and quicker hotel search.
- You can stop searching anytime – searching many sites takes time if you want to show real prices. However, it often happens that the first few replies provide enough results and some users do not want to wait. In this case they can easily hit the “enough results” button to the right.
- You can look from different angles –use our photo view to browse hotels looking at bigger picturesd or switch to map view if you need to see where you are going to stay.
- You can save some hotels for later — we know how hard it is to find the right hotel from the available 900. HotelCalculator.com has a Shortlist feature that let’s you save hotels you like for later. It is even possible to send a link with selected hotels to someone if more people plan the trip.
- You can search from your iGoogle homepage – just install a widget for your iGoogle homepage and you can look for hotels without going too far. More at: http://www.google.com/ig/adde?moduleurl=www.hotelcalculator.com/iGoogle/hcsearch.xml
Since I LOVE hotels I’m always on the lookout for good hotel comparision sites. I have a few favorites already, and once I have finally booked my flight to London I will definitely make use of HotelCalculator as well.

Now this is one I haven’t seen that I’m going to have to check out.
Thanks for posting this. I took a quick test drive and it doesn’t seem that much different from search engines such as Travelocity, Kayak, Expedia and others.
Are there additional features that I missed?

@Rob, I’m pretty sure Michal covered the most important ones. If I discover any additional features, I’ll definitely let you know.

I couldn’t get this site to work! When I click search it says please wait, then does nothing… Has anyone else had this problem? Ive gone to http://www.citybreaks-direct.co.uk instead!
They’re helpful and its nice to be able to speak to a real person, not just click away (especially if the clicks don’t work like that other site!!! how frustrating!)
