Before writing this post, I'd recently finished Kelly Slater's biography and a book about the basics of surfing written by two surfers in their 30s and I just wrote in my own words what I had learnt from those books. This was in no means intended to be a well-researched post, just wanted to share what I had learnt at that point. I will change that intro to avoid giving the wrong impression.
