Great Information ! I agree with the writer but very surprise to see that Eurostar is not in this list. Eurostar is the high speed train which connects UK to Western Europe via Chunnel Tunnel.

I agree - the Trans Siberian railway journey sounds so amazing - it's on my list of things I have to do once I stop working and start travelling for pleasure. Perhaps the romance of this journey in particular comes from the remote and little inhabited lands it crosses and the fact that some of the countries it covers were, for so many years closed off to travellers. Hi Taylor, St.Petersburg to Moscow is one journey I’ve always wanted to take, and possible all the way to Beijing through Russia and Mongolia.

Yes, train experiences are a whole other thing – wrong choice of word on my part. I will delete right away. Thanks for pointing that out.

I took #6, the St. Petersburg to Moscow route, many years ago, pretty cool.

But honestly, while these are good trains, they aren’t the best train experiences. Big differences…
