Top 3 Skate Parks in Sweden

Skating in Sweden might not be as good as in Barcelona, Copenhagen or Prague but we do have at least three terrific skate parks: Stapelbäddsparken in Malmö, Fun Park in Linköping and Fryshuset in Stockholm. In May 2010, Halmstad kommun in cooperation with other local organizations started building a skate park by Halmstad Arena.
My favorite, Stapelbäddsparken, was designed by Stefan Hauser, a skateboarder from Oregon who has designed and constructed several parks in Europe and in the US. This 2500 square meters big skatepark in the Western Harbour, only a ten to fifteen minutes walk from the railway station, welcomes beginners as well as pros.

awesome, gotta love a skatepark where you can’t even pronounce it’s name. I want to go to prague most of all, the skating there looks sick.

Haha! Definitely check out Stapelbäddsparken if you get a chance. I loved going there early mornings and cool off with a swim in the sea by the Western Harbour afterwards.
