So far I haven’t visited any national park in the U.S, but friends of mine who traveled in USA recommended the national parks below. Have you been to any of them?

Yosemite National Park in Sierra Nevada, California. Established 1890.

Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park and Grand Lake, Colorado. Established 1915.

Yellowstone National Park in northwestern Wyoming and parts of Montana and Idaho. Established 1872.
Olympic National Park near Port Angeles, Washington. Established 1938.
Grand Teton National Park – Northwestern Wyoming. Established 1929.

I haven’t been to any of them but am determined to make an effort to see at least Grand Canyon and Yellowstone park, my two dream parks!
Me too!! I really love to go there, to see God’s creation in front of my eyes. US National Parks are really magnificent. I hope i can arrive there someday ……. all the best
I have been to Yellowstone National Park and it is amazing. It is one of those places that you need to experience. Reading about it is great but experiencing it sends shivers down my spine. I plane to go to Rocky Mountain National Park next summer
I have traveled to most of the National Parks in the western U.S. with the notable exception of Grand Canyon and Glacier. They are all national treasures. Here, however, were some of my personal favorites; 1.Rocky Mountain 2.Canyonlands 3.Zion 4.Sequoia 5.Yellowstone 6.Smokey Mountain 7.Teton 8.Yosemite 9.Bryce Canyon 10.Arches.
Another fantastic thing about the Western U.S. is the vast amount of National Monuments, Wilderness Area and Forest Service lands. Manytimes these places provide the same incredible scenery and recreational opportunities without the large crowds found in many National parks. I hope you get the chance to enjoy some of these magnificent locations sometime soon.
Hi Ron, Thanks for sharing your personal favorites. I hope to visit all of them at some point as well as the rest of the Western U.S.
