Sounds good. That reminds me of a blog post idea I got a few days ago: memorable characters/persons I've met while traveling.

One place? Nothing wrong with that! And you're right, you probably couldn't. But if you'd asked about my top three, I'd say Montbonnot, Seefeld and Notting Hill. I lived in Borensberg the longest though (between ages 7 to 18, and a few short stints in between trips). A good place for kids to grow up in, although once I got older I really missed living in a big city.

Must have been a great experience. I googled Burdur and found this video http://www.metacafe.com/watch/137132/veiws_from_burdur_turkey/ Looks like a nice place... And I just read on Wikipedia that the region has many lakes, including Salda Lake which is considered one of the world's cleanest lakes. Interesting.

Burdur, Turkey was probably the most different place I've lived - I was doing my military service so the lifestyle itself was completely different!

You've lived in some fantastic cities. Melbourne seems like a great city to live in. I just googled Cirencester and Leongatha. (Never heard about those places before.)

Where else? I'd love to live in Paris (at least for a month or two), New York, Portland (I feel very drawn to that city for some reason), Bangkok, Buenos Aires, a wine region in France or Italy, Greece... and I've always wanted to live in California. Although... I can imagine myself living in lots of other places as well - like New Zealand. It doesn't look like an island you would want to leave in the first place!

Have been a wanderer for many years. Born in Melbourne, Australia, grew up in Sydney, then lived in Auckland, New Zealand, then Cirencester, England, then London, England, then moved back to Melbourne in the late 80s. Lived mostly in Melbourne but had a stint in Leongatha, country Victoria.
