Winter Season in St Anton am Arlberg

Sankt Anton

When seeing these pictures taken by a friend who lived and worked in the Austrian ski resort St Anton, I almost wished I was there. She and my sister traveled there in December and will probably stay until the end of April when the ski season is over.

Who is your friend? I might have met her, I’m just back from St Anton.

@Cormac, Her name is Lina, she comes from Sweden.

Does she work in information for the Lifts (though I’ve a feeling that was Lena, not Lina)/
If so herself and her friend were very helpful to us one day in the fog – our party of a ski instuctor, a SKGB guide and a jumper managed to get lost !!

@Cormac, Trust me, you’re not the only ones who have managed to get lost in the fog! It probably wasn’t Lina though because I think they went home in April ’08.

Hello, I was an Aussie traveller working in St Anton in 1980-81 season. Has anyone seen any posts on the web about earlier times in St. A?
